Great Views

Our family had a wonderful time here. It accommodated us well. Plenty of space. I would call this property rustic but it had everything we needed to relax and do some cooking. Rebecca was instantly available for inquiries and questions. The fact that bears were walking around the community made our stay!

We had a wonderful time in this house and seeing a couple of bears just made it even better! Make sure if you stay here you lock your car doors, 2 bears opened my daughters car and climbed in, one left a very big paw print on her seat. No damage was done thank goodness!

It was our 1st ever Friends-cation but it was a memorable one. The area was far enough away that the noise of the town did not reach us and we were greeted with wildlife everyday. The place was clean and provided everything we needed to enjoy our weekend without having to pack up a whole house. We loved it very much.

Gorgeous Area

We had a great time while in Gatlinburg. The house had plenty of space and lots of things to do (billiards, ping pong, hot tub). The first time up the mountain was a little scary, the roads are not very wide but are super curvy. There is a company called Bring It who delivered food, they were awesome!

Beautiful rustic location away from touristy Gatlinburg

We loved our stay at Bear Paws. Stayed with 3 adults, 3 kids. The location is way up a steep steep hill so be prepared for some athletic driving. Town is just a couple miles away so if you need anything it's right there but the location feels very remote and peaceful which we loved. The kids climbed all over the mountain and had a ball. Beds were comfy, the house was clean and warm. Lots of kvetching on here about needing updates. I mean it's a little rustic and I'm not sure I'd call it a luxury property but it's more than a great deal and we had basically nothing to complain about. We hung out in the hot tub every day. The kids played pool tons. I whooped everyone in ping pong. We cooked a ton. Kitchen is fine. Nothing fancy. Probably could use some new pots and pans. The fridge didn't work when we got there but Rebecca immediately got a brand new refrigerator delivered. She was very responsive. The only bummer is it wasn't cold enough to ski but we did go ice skating up in Ober. And we went to Dollywood when it was almost empty and had zero wait for every ride in the park which was amazing! All said I would stay here again in a heartbeat when we make it back to the Smokey Mountains.

The cabin was clean and was in a perfect location for our trip!

The cabin was spacious and clean. All amenities that were advertised were present and functional making our stay very relaxing and fun. We were able to have a good time on vacation without having to worry about anything. The cabin had a homey feel to it making it comfortable to come back to every evening.

I loved the homely feeling of this cabin.

It has a wonderful view. The cabin itself is a little older, but that gives it all the more “cabin” feel. Best cabin I’ve stayed in this far! I am definitely recommending this place to all my friends.
