The True Light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, yet the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own people did not receive Him. But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His name. He gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. -John 1:9-13
Jesus is the True Light Who came to rescue us from the darkness that has the world in its grip. We must not only receive and enjoy His light, but also let His light shine through us so that those still in darkness will see that there is a way of escape. We give thanks to God for sending His Son to be our Light.
We pray that you will have a joyous Christmas and a blessed New Year, enjoying God's gracious gift of The Light to us.
